Heather has a passion for cooking that started at a very young age.

Beginning with a vision is important both personally and in business. Gathering the people and tools necessary for success is a big part of this process. As a young girl, Heather started gathering knowledge of all the different parts needed to plan a successful charitable function, corporate party or personal dinner party. Who were the people I would be cooking for? Where are the locations that fit the event and the people? Then, of course, what can I provide as the menu for delicious food to make this event a success?

Heather did several events every year with her mother. Whether it was a dinner party in a home, or a charitable event for Peninsula League, Civic Light Opera, Pals for Palsy or Hospice, helping in the background was a big part of the early training that helped form the capable event planner you see today. Whether a party for ten or a function for 300, she learned that social skills and interactions with people are a source of joy. Taking each event on and the challenge it brings with excitement. Whether décor, music, the menu or entertainment, the excitement is a tangible part of the success of bringing her vision to each guest attending.

fred SIMERAL

Hi, my name is Fred Simeral. And I love to cook.

Ever since I was about 4 years old my mom had me in the kitchen learning the tricks of the trade, and boy the trick was writing a whole new book on good old fashion cooking. My mom ran a few different restaurants as I was growing up and she showed me everything and anything to surprise and please the customers in a good old fashion way with a taste that makes you say, WOW.

Now standing next to my beautiful wife with her expertise in cooking in a fabulous & elegant manner I am getting the best of both worlds, and so will you.  With Chef Heather on one side and old fashion Fred on the other, hang onto your wine glasses or your mug of beer this will be the food for the perfect cheer.  Wild & Woodsy Catering is serving you here.

. . . delicious with a fresh, healthy, colorful green salad, & a generous piece of fresh salmon cooked to perfection, and vegetables that tasted fresh from the garden.
